Grape growers in the region are getting some support from the province.
A new program – the Marketing and Vineyard Improvement Programming – will provide up to two-million dollars in costs-share funding to help adapt to challenges in the industry.
Up to 35% of eligible costs will be reimbursed to eligible vineyard activity up to $100,000 per vineyard.
The funding is covered by the Canadian Agricultural Partnership with the application process opening on March 5th.
