Province Sends Cash CK’s Way

The provincial government is sending $500,000 to Chatham-Kent to improve transportation between the towns and hamlets of the municipality.

Chatham-Kent is one of 39 municipalities that will share in $30-million in Community Transportation Grants over five years.

The money is earmarked for partnerships with community organizations, health agencies, transit agencies, school bus and private transportation operators to coordinate local transportation services.
