A relatively new Blenheim business is looking to expand, with the help of some new provincial funding.
Cross Country Manufacturing, which moved into the former Inverny Automotive building in 2013, is being given $550,000 from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund.
Officials say the creation of new projects will create 100 new jobs, increase annual revenue, and grow export capacity at the Solvay Drive facility by 70%.
“Ontario’s support is helping Cross Country Manufacturing to enter new markets in the U.S., introduce new products and grow our revenue,” says Becky Froese, Cross Country’s Chief Operating Officer. “This expansion will increase our productivity, allowing us to create good jobs in the new and improved Blenheim facility.”
The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2017.
