Public Disturbance In Fast Food Drive-Thru

A local man was forced to sleep it off in a holding cell following a disturbance at the Wallaceburg McDonald’s.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the restaurant on Tuesday at around 1:10 a.m. after a man was seen behaving erratically in the drive-thru.

Authorities said the man was seen jumping in and out of vehicles, as well as the drive-thru window.

Officers located a man who was believed to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

The 26-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was held until he sobered up.
