Public Input Sought On Future of Erieau

Residents and business owners in Erieau are being given the opportunity to have their say about the future direction of their community.

In a joint effort between the Erieau Community Association (ECA) and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, an online survey is being conducted to gather ideas and develop a vision for the lakeshore village.

“We love Erieau, and we want to make sure it continues to be a beautiful place to live and visit,” said ECA Chair Leo Heuvelmans in a news release. “The Erieau we have today is different than that of decades ago and we recognize that things will change in the years to come. It’s time to review the priorities of the community.”

The results of the survey will form the basis for a public meeting in the spring and will help ECA develop a multi-year strategic plan for Erieau.

The survey is available online until March 31 can be found by clicking here.
