Public Intoxication In Thamesville

A Thamesville man was forced to sleep it off in a holding cell after allegedly running down a road while intoxicated.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a section of London Road in Thamesville after a man was seen running on the roadway.

After police arrived, they noticed the man was showing signs of intoxication, and he was arrested.

A 36-year-old Thamesville man was held until sober and then released with a Provincial Offence Notice.
