A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the theft of a motorcycle in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday after two people were seen pushing a motorcycle along Lacroix Street.
Authorities said the motorcycle matched the description of one reported stolen on Tuesday from a Tweedsmuir Avenue address.
Officers located a man and a woman with the motorcycle on Siskind Avenue and confirmed the bike was stolen.
As a result, a 39-year-old Chatham Township woman and a 43-year-old Chatham man were arrested and are now charged with possession of stolen property. They were later released with June court dates.
