Rain, Wind Could Cause Flooding

Conservation officials are keeping close tabs on area water ways with heavy rain overnight and high winds continuing today.

The St Clair Region is under a flood watch. Winds topping 70 kilometres today come with the potential for backwater effects around Wallaceburg. However, water levels in the area are relatively low, so no major flooding is expected.

Along the Lake Erie shoreline, there could be flooding in the Rondeau Bay area, Erie Shore Drive, and possible some flooding in the Lighthouse Cove area late this morning and into the afternoon.
