Raising A Fist Leads To Charges

A Chatham man is facing charges after an argument led to another man being threatened.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to investigate the incident at a Park Street address shortly after noon on Monday.

Authorities said a man and the victim had been arguing when the accused allegedly raised his fist and threatened to harm the victim.

As a result, the 25-year-old Chatham man is now charged with uttering threats and assault. He was taken to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date.
