The RCMP Musical Ride will be coming to the Alvinston Fall fair this year for their 140th anniversary.
The Musical Ride has performed for heads of state in Ottawa and opened up the greatest outdoor show on earth, The Calgary Stampede.
Now the Musical Ride will display what timing and precision and training can produce when they take the field in Alvinston on September the 14th.
One of the challenges of having the Musical Ride come to a smaller community is that people come from all over to see the pageantry that is the RCMP precision team and that means they need a place to park. Parking will be an issue that the town will have to deal with as well as putting up bleachers around the field where the ride will take place.
Council members are extremely happy to have the Musical Ride at the fair. They say it will put Alvinston on the map
