
Home sellers in Chatham-Kent continue to compete for buyers in Chatham as the number of new listings reached a record high.
According to the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors, there were 319 new residential listings added in June, a 30.7 per cent increase compared to the same time in 2024.
This marked the largest number of new listings in CK added for the month of June and was also the highest number added for any month in history.
A total of 116 homes changed hands last month, only 13 fewer than June of last year. The average price of homes sold last month was $438,058, an increase of 3 per cent year-over-year.
There were 552 active residential listings on the market at the end of June, a 15 per cent jump since the same time last year. Active listings haven’t been this high in the month of June in ten years.
