Staff at the Salvation Army in Chatham-Kent are dusting off their iconic red kettles.
The organization’s annual Christmas campaign kicks into high gear today with kettles and volunteers in stores across Chatham. Red kettles will begin appearing in Wallaceburg on November 20th.
This year’s fundraising goal for this year’s Christmas Campaign is set at $560,000. Donations will be accepted at Red Kettle locations, by mail, or online at cksalvationarmy.org. Donations can be mailed to 46 Orangewood Blvd., Chatham, ON, N7L 5H1.
The Salvation Army is still in need of volunteers to help with collecting donations. All ages are welcome, but anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Meantime, registration continues for those seeking assistance. Residents in need can visit the Salvation Army offices in Chatham, Ridgetown, and Wallaceburg through November 28th.
