A Wallaceburg man has been charged following a traffic complaint on Highway 402 near London.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers responded to a call about a possible impaired driver on the highway at around 5 p.m. on Saturday. The vehicle was eventually located and stopped on Longwoods Road in Middlesex Centre by an officer with the Oneida Nation Police.
The driver, a 32-year-old Wallaceburg man, was arrested at the scene and is now charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand. He has since been released from custody with a March court date.
Authorities are reminding members of the public to call police impaired if they suspect a driver may be impaired.
