The Alzheimer’s Society of Sarnia-Lambton is teaming up with the OPP to help keep some of the community’s most vulnerable residents safe.
Registration is being held this weekend for a new Vulnerable Persons Registry.
Statistics show at some point, three out of every five people living with dementia will wander off, but if not found within 24 hours, half of those will suffer a significant injury or worse.
Those looking to add a loved one to the registry can go to the Forest Ambulance Bay on Saturday, or the Point Edward council chambers on February 20th.
