Dennis Debot will be remembered as a leader in the agriculture industry known for his business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and innovative efforts.
Debot died on Friday, November 24 after a battle with cancer.
DeBot was named the 2022 Agriculture Innovator of the Year as part of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce’s Rural Urban Awards.
He was also well-known for his work with local organizations such as Community Living Wallaceburg and in the community. Debot was the force behind Otter Creek Jam Fest.
A celebration of Debot’s life will be held at Cavanagh Reception Centre, from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday.
