Changes are coming to a local seniors centre.
Officials with the Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre say flooring on the James Street facility’s upper level will be replaced in the coming weeks.
However, with the amount of noise and dust expected to create by the renovations, the centre will be closed beginning Monday, August 12th.
During the closure, outdoor and offsite activities will continue to be offered, including kayaking and pickleball, and Tai Chi classes will be held under the pavilion at Crothers Park, weather permitting.
The Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre is expected to reopen Monday, September 9th.
