The Ford government appears set to announce its plan to start reopening the province.
The current stay at home order expires on June 2nd, but as COVID cases across Ontario fall and the number of vaccinations increases, some things like outdoor activities could start to open up as soon as this weekend.
Scheduled to speak at 3 this afternoon, Premier Doug Ford, Health Minister Christine Elliott, and Medical Officer Dr. David Williams will reportedly unveil a “sector-by-sector” reopening instead of a regional approach, aimed at keeping people from region-hopping and traveling to areas with less stringent restrictions.
