Repairs are coming to another bridge in Chatham-Kent, this time in Wallaceburg.
The Base Line Bridge is slated for an electrical rehabilitation.
Municipal officials say in recent years, the swing bridge would open to allow marine traffic to pass through, but the bridge was unable to close.

While the work is expected to start soon and last until the spring, officials don’t expect any closures of the bridge to vehicle traffic.
