The virtual meeting will give residents their first chance to comment on the proposed 3.96 per cent increase.
The Budget Chair is Councillor Brock McGregor.
“It’s an opportunity to present to the community the information so we can continue to receive feedback as to what is important to the community, and the budget committee and council can be well informed as we move into deliberations. We really look to the community for feedback and direction and make sure that we are viewing this budget, not only as a commitment to funding for the next year, but how it’s going to impact our community as well.
The session will be shown live on the municipalities Facebook page and municipal site at www.Facebook.com/MunicCK.
There will be another session Wednesday at 4 pm and again Thursday at 6 pm.
