Chatham’s Retro Suites and Chilled Cork Restaurant is encouraging local businesses to step up for their community in the fight against COVID-19.
The Retro Suites and Chilled Cork has been assisting in relief efforts for Community Living, the Salvation Army, WISH Centre and the C-K Women’s Shelter.
“The message is simple. If you can help, please do so,” says General Manager Pete Tsirimbis. “During these times it’s imperative we all come together as one and be socially and economically responsible for our community.”
The Chilled Cork Restaurant and Retro Suites Hotel have committed $10,000 to local charities to help during the pandemic. The downtown business says they want to assist those that are having difficult times in our community while spreading a community effort and message of love and generosity.
The Chilled Cork and Retro Suites are also supplying lunch and dinners to our local fire departments and EMS personnel.
“I really believe it takes a community effort,” adds Tsirimbi. “We encourage everyone in CK to do their part. We will be in a better place when this is over.”
