Authorities were called to a home yesterday after a man who was under a court order to stay away showed up.
While being taken into custody, the accused grabbed a woman by the hair and wouldn’t let go until he was pepper sprayed by police.
However, the suspect then bit the arresting officer, breaking the skin.
The officer was taken to hospital for treatment while the suspect was ushered off to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
