Thanks to nearly half a million dollars in funding from OMAFRA, the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus now has a state-of-the-art Swine Education Centre.
Launched last week, the centre has 6,600 sq. ft., and will be used by agriculture and vet tech students.
Courses such as livestock systems, animal science, pork production, and animal health will be taught in the new building.
