Mischief charges have been laid after someone threw a rock through a window at the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
Officers were called to the Chatham branch on Queen Street South Sunday afternoon and say a suspect was found near the scene and was believed to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance.
The 32-year-old was arrested and held in custody until he sobered up. He was released with conditions and a date in court in March.
