A local man is facing impaired driving charges following a rollover crash in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to Forest Street at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, after a vehicle struck a parked car, lost control and flipped.
The driver ran from the scene before police arrived, however, officers were able to identify a suspect who was later arrested.
A 29-year-old Chatham man is now charged with impaired driving, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, and failing to remain at the scene of a collision. He has since been released from custody and will answer the charges in court next month.
