A green initiative at a Wallaceburg hardware store is paying off.
Over the course of 2022, staff at the Wallaceburg RONA made a conscious effort to reduce their environmental footprint, and were honoured by RONA’S corporate office with $1000 to be given to the employee’s charity of choice.
The money has now been handed over to the Sydenham Field Naturalists. Officials say the donation will be used to support education and restoring the area’s native biodiversity.
