Rotary Doubles Down On Green

Chatham will be leading local Rotary clubs into the next year.

Barry Fraser will be focusing on the environment over the next year.

“I’m going to espousing some of the goals of the Rotary International president Ian Riseley. He is strong on environmental sustainability, he charges 1.2-million Rotarians to each plant a tree for this next year,” Says Fraser.

“So tonight we are launching that with a Carolinian American sycamore tree to be planted in Chatham.

The District covers Rotary clubs in Chatham-Kent and southeastern Michigan, 52 in all.
