“Round the County Ag Tour” Sunday, September 13th, from 10am to 4pm
The 17th annual “Round the County Agriculture Tour” is being held Sunday, September 13th. This Agriculture tour is a great opportunity for the public to visit some of Chatham-Kent’s finest farms and agriculture operations. It’s free, fun, and educational! It’s a self-guided driving tour and participants can visit a few or all of the 7 host sites. This year the tour is focusing on the northeast section of Chatham-Kent.
This year’s host sites include:
- Thompsons Limited, Kent Bridge
- Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority- Curran Wetland Restoration Site, Thamesville
- Jennen Family Strawberry Farm, Wabash
- Paul and Lorna Graham’s Vintage Equipment, Croton
- Dresden Agricultural Society
- Uncle Tom’s Cabin
- Agris Co-op in Tupperville
There will also be Farm Credit Canada’s “Drive Away Hunger” tent and a 4H BBQ fundraiser along the route.
This is a free event for the public thanks to some generous supporters
