Blenheim native Andrew French will be sailing for the Rondeau Yacht Club in this week’s Ontario Summer Games in Mississauga.
This will be French’s second Summer Games, and says he’s been working hard to prepare.
“I joined the Fanshaw race team up in London, and I’ve been training up there,” says French. “I’ve also gone to a few other regattas in training for it.”
French is hoping for a top 10 finish. Meantime Windsor-native Angelina Moro is also sailing for the Rondeau Yacht Club. The 15-year old won bronze at the Games two years ago, and says she can’t wait to compete again.
