T’is the season for giving.

The Salvation Army is kicking off its annual Red Kettle campaign, and Captain Karen Holland says they’re setting the bar high.

“Last year our goal was $460,000 and we came though with 490,000 so that was an awesome about, and this year we’re going to try for $500,000,” says Holland.

The Red Kettle campaign is the primary fundraiser for the organization, helping to provide food and toy hampers at Christmas, food banks, and other support programs throughout the year.
