Salmon Roll

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder; cut shortening finely into flour. Blend milk with beaten egg. Add to flour mixture and mix well. Add more flour to make dough of rolling consistency, if necessary. Roll into rectangle and spread with salmon filling. Roll up jelly roll style. Press edge to securely seal. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400F for ½ hour.
