About 5:30 pm on Saturday officers and paramedics responded to a call in the 900 block of Confederation Street.
They discovered an injured man and rushed him to the hospital but 26 year old Luis Enrique Hernandez was pronounced dead.
The Criminal Investigation Branch has been called in and all they are saying at this point is they believe it was an isolated incident.
