The Director of Education with the St Clair Catholic District School Board is trying to address peoples’ concerns regarding the new sex-ed curriculum being introduced by the liberal government.

Dan Parr says most of the issues are based on peoples presumptions, because the curriculum hasn’t been formally released.

“We do teach sex education. It’s part of our religion and Sunday life program,” says Parr. “Catholic schools in the province have been delivering religion and family life for at least 40 years.”

Education Minister Liz Sandals says details will be coming out soon to explain the changes to the curriculum
