Seamus McInnis Fleming

New Democratic Party –Chatham—Kent—Leamington
I am a master’s student researching rural areas and farmers in politics.
I have worked at Parliament researching healthcare legislation, especially bringing free mammograms to patients under 40 and to rural communities.
I helped with research for expanding pharmacare and dental care. I have advocated for truly affordable housing in my region, this effort was successful.
Even though I am young, I am proud to say I have won on a few issues. Combatting tariffs is my first priority, workers and farmers are not collateral damage, and we need a seat at the table.
Most importantly, I want to hear what YOU want for Chatham-Kent-Leamington. When we are united, we win.
Seamus McInnis Fleming sat down with 99.1’s Kirk Dickinson to discuss issues of local importance.
