Second Lottery Win For Chatham Man

A Chatham man is $100,000 richer after a recent lottery draw, which is his second big win just this year.

Robert Brown matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the August 5 Lotto Max draw to take home his recent windfall. He said he also won $10,000 earlier this year with Lottario.

“I play the lottery regularly. I always check my numbers on OLG.ca after the draws and I had to do a double take at the computer when I noticed I won,” he said in a news release. “My daughter is the first one I told. She was dumbfounded and shocked.”

The retired father of one said he plans to purchase a new car and save the rest of his winnings.

The recent winning ticket was purchased at Charlie’s Variety on Keil Drive in Chatham.
