The number of homes sold in Chatham-Kent saw a small increase in September, while prices remained compatible with the previous year.
According to the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors, 98 homes changed hands last month, which was an increase of seven sales compared to September of 2022. However, home sales were 20.3 per cent below the five-year average and 17.6 per cent below the 10-year average for the month of September.
The average price of homes sold in September was $431,471, a slight decrease of 0.5 per cent from the same time last year.
There were a total of 366 active listings on the markets at the end of last month, nine less than in September 2022.
