Several Care Options Available In CK During Flu Season

Chatham-Kent’s local health team is issuing a reminder about the options available for those seeking medical care to help reduce wait times and ensure timely care for everyone.

The Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team said local residents have access to a variety of care options during the respiratory illness season.

These include primary care providers, pharmacies, online services such as UrgentCareOntario.ca, and the MobileCare bus when it’s near your community.

“During this busy respiratory season, we encourage everyone to understand their care options,” said Melissa Sharpe Harrigan, Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team Executive Lead, in a news release. “By working together, we can provide the best care possible while easing the strain on emergency services.”

Walk-in clinics, such as the Tilbury Walk-In Clinic on Monday through Friday or BridgeCare on Saturdays and Sundays, are also available for those who do not have access to primary care.
