A 33-year-old man is in custody, charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Wallaceburg.
Police were called to the area of King and Albert Street early Tuesday morning, and at the time would only say they were investigating a ‘serious incident.’
Authorities say the victim, an 18-year-old woman, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The accused is was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Chatham-Kent’s Major Crimes unit is now handling the case and would like to speak with anyone who can provide extra information as the investigation continues.
