Shots Fired in Wallaceburg

Charges have been laid after shots were fired in Wallaceburg.

Police got involved Sunday night after an officer pulled over a driver and noticed some damage on the vehicle.

A little digging, and officers discovered there was an altercation earlier that afternoon near the intersection of Victoria and King, with shots exchanged between a man and two other people he knew.

The 31-year-old Wallaceburg man was taken into custody this morning, charged with pointing a firearm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
