Drunk driving charges have been laid against a Chatham woman.
Emergency crews responded to a single vehicle collision on Merritt Avenue shortly after 4 o’clock this morning.
Police say the driver was heading east on Riverview Drive, missed a right-hand turn onto Merritt, jumped a curb, and struck a tree.
The driver, a 37-year-old woman, was taken to police headquarters for tests
