The SIU has been called in to investigate an incident involving Lambton OPP. 
On Sunday, police were called to the Lambton Shores area for an erratic driver – officers found a pickup truck driving with passengers on the roof.
Police gave chase, and one of the passengers fell off the vehicle, suffering serious injuries.
The driver got away while authorities turned their attention to the victim.
The Special Investigations Unit is called in any time police are involved in a situation where there is an injury, death, or sexual assault allegation.
