Six Arrested in 24 Hours

Chatham-Kent Police have arrested six people after responding to nearly 150 calls this Thursday and Friday.

More than $600 in power tools were stolen from a Chippewa Drive home in Chatham yesterday. The identity of the thief is unknown.

Another break and enter occurred yesterday morning on Foster Street in Chatham. A 32-year-old man has been charged with Break and Enter with Intent. He is being held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

A young man turned himself into police on Thursday after coming forward with a number of criminal code offences. He was arrested, but later released on Recognizance of Bail with conditions.

A 39-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with assault last night. She was released pending a court date later this month.

Earlier this morning, a 21-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and charged  with breach of probation. He has been released pending a future court date.
