Six Cases At McNaughton Ave PS, Three Connected To Outbreak

CK Public Health and the Lambton-Kent District School Board have updated the public in relation to the COVID situation at McNaughton Avenue Public School in Chatham.

The school board is now listing six positive cases connected to the McNaughton school community, with three of those cases related to the declared outbreak.

At this time, Chatham-Kent Public Health does not feel there is any further impact to the school.   
 
Students, staff and families are encouraged to follow the health and safety protocols in place to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19, including completing and following the directions of the daily school screening assessment tool.

If you have NOT been notified, your child has not been in close contact with the confirmed cases.

The school remains open.
