Slight Uptick in COVID Cases

As public health holds its first mobile vaccination clinic in Wheatley today, there’s been a slight uptick COVID cases.

Public Health is reporting 5 new cases and 3 resolved, raising the total active caseload to 37.

There are still three active outbreaks involving one workplace and two schools – A.A. Wright in Wallaceburg and UCC in Chatham.

Officials from the Health Alliance say for the first time in a while, there are no COVID-positive patients being treated at the local hospital.
