More gas has been detected in downtown Wheatley.
Emergency crews were contacted about the smell of gas coming from behind the Wheatley Public Library on Talbot Road West.
Municipal officials say the public can expect to see increased presence behind the library and at the monitoring well.
Crews are fencing off the area out of an abundance of caution. Officials say that while small amounts of gas have been detected, there is no risk to the public at this point.
