Snow Squall Watch In Effect

The cleanup continues after Chatham-Kent got another taste of winter yesterday, and more is on the way. icy-roads

A number of crashes were reported across the region, although few official details have been released by Chatham-Kent Police.

Salters and plows were out throughout the night trying to keep the roads clear, but winds continue to cause drifting across many roads in the outlying areas.

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for today, with total accumulations still expected to hit between 10 and 15 centimetres by this afternoon.

Motorist can expect more blowing snow and reduced visibility throughout the day.
