Old Man Winter may be a little late arriving in southwestern Ontario, but he’s expected to make his presence felt this weekend.
Environment Canada says our region is on the northern fringe of a major winter storm tracking south of the Great Lakes with snow beginning late tonight and into tomorrow evening.
We could see as much as 10 cm of snow falling across Chatham-Kent tomorrow with bitterly cold temperatures and wind gusts to 60 kilometres an hour continuing through the weekend.
However, officials say there’s a lot of uncertainty with this storm, which could track to the north or south of us.
