Environment Canada is calling for total snowfall amounts of nearly 10 cm in some areas as an Alberta clipper makes its way across the region.
Plows and salters have been out throughout the night, but visibility is reduced in open areas, including Highway 40.
Drivers are urged to allow extra time for travel.
The snow is expected to taper to flurries or showers later today.
