A Chatham woman is the focus of a new documentary.
Songs for Emily premiered at the United Way this weekend, featuring Emily Hime, who runs “Hime for Help” in support of an orphanage in Haiti.
She says she’s overwhelmed by the support she receives.
“It’s always incredible to see the support I get from the Chatham-Kent community,” Hime says. “This just goes to show how if we all come together, we can do something great.”
Her humanitarian efforts began several years ago, and she has since volunteered in third world countries all over the globe.
Songs for Emily includes performances by a number of local artists, filmed at the Song Circle Room at Fit as a Fiddle in Chatham.
