Speeder Nabbed in Tilbury Community Zone

A speeding vehicle caught the eye of Chatham-Kent Police this week.

Officers on general patrol spotted the vehicle whipping through a community zone on Queen Street in Tilbury Tuesday night, shortly after 9:40pm.

The officer pulled over the driver on Middle Line. Authorities say further investigation showed the man was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in connection a mischief investigation that was launched last September.

The 20-year-old from Comber is now facing charges of mischief and stunt driving. He was issued a 30 day license suspension and had his vehicle impounded for two weeks.
