Two people are facing charges following a traffic enforcement blitz by Chatham-Kent Police.
Officers were monitoring the speed of drivers on Merlin Road near Prairie Siding in Raleigh Township on Thursday afternoon and say two northbound vehicles sped by.
One vehicle was clocked going 150 kilometres an hour, the other at 152 as it passed the first vehicle.
Both drivers were pulled over.
A 25-year-old Dover Township woman and 21-year-old Tilbury man have been charged with speeding and stunt driving. The pair received an automatic 30-day driver’s license suspension and both vehicles were towed from the scene and impounded for 14 days.
